The Shevchenko Scientific Society invites all to a launch of new publications by two members of the Lviv Shevchenko Scientific Society: Mykhailo Hrushevsky’s History of Ukraine-Rus’, vol. 3, and Mykhailo Zubrytsky’s Collected Works and Materials, vol. 2. Frank Sysyn, full member of the Shevchenko Scientific Society and professor of history at the University of Alberta, will present two these publications of works by members of the Society in its golden age in Lviv before the First World War. The launch will also be a discussion of the achievements of the Society from 1894 to 1914 and the accomplishments of the two scholars, as illustrated by these publications. Professor Sysyn serves as editor in chief of the Hrushevsky Translation Project and the Collected Works and Materials of Mykhailo Zubrytsky.
