During the presentation of Razom’s legal report titled “Human Rights on Occupied Territory: The Case of Crimea”, a team of international lawyers and authors discussed some of the most important legal recommendations. One of these is the legal mechanism for creation of the Tribunal for the crimes committed during Euromaidan, Crimea and Donbas occupation. The audience was very engaged and showered authors with excellent questions.

Panelists:
IVANNA BILYCH is a lawyer, activist, and author of the report. Ivanna has been offering commentary and sharing her expertise on Ukrainian and American media. In 2014 she oversaw and co-wrote a report: “The Crisis in Ukraine: Its Legal Dimensions”
OLENA SHARVAN is a lawyer and report author. She has been admitted to two PhD Programs: in Criminal Law at Jagiellonian University in Krakow (Poland), and in Criminal Law and Criminology at Ivan Franko National University of Lviv (Ukraine).
VICTOR C. OKPARA is a report author and a recent LLM graduate from NYU School of Law. Before this, he graduated from Nigerian Law School and is admitted to the Nigerian bar.
AJITHA PICHAIPILLAI is a report author and a recent LLM graduate from NYU School of Law. She has received her law degree in India.
Panel was moderated by MARY HOLLAND, who is Director of the Graduate Legal Skills Program at New York University School of Law.
