The Shevchenko Scientific Society in the US is pleased to announce the publication of Volume 51-52 of the Bulletin.
This double issue reports on the Shevchenko Scientific Society’s activities for 2021. It opens with an interview of NTSh-A President Halyna Hryn that was published in the Ukrainian newspaper The Day (День), in which she describes her vision for the Society. It also features texts by Veronika Skip, Maria Rewakowicz, Kateryna Iakovlenko, and Vasyl Makhno. The Bulletin contains an update on the Society’s publishing activities, member news and NTSh-A events, reports on the library and archives, financial and investing perspectives, and a word from the architect about the headquarters renovation. This issue of the Bulletin has a special section on the upcoming elections that publishes the Nominating Committee’s announcement of the two slates as well as biographies of all candidates for Board positions. Texts by Alexander Motyl and George Grabowicz round out the section on elections. Finally, the Bulletin includes a list of bios of new members accepted in 2021.
The Bulletin is published twice annually, in Ukrainian with some material in English, by the Shevchenko Scientific Society, Inc. Paper copies of the Bulletin will be mailed out to all members. The full text is also available for download on the Society’s website under the News and Events tab.
