Membership and Support

The Shevchenko Scientific Society is the oldest Ukrainian academy of arts and sciences whose activities have been the mainstay of Ukrainian culture since 1873 when it was established in Lviv, Ukraine, and since 1948 in the Unites States of America. Membership of the Society has included many distinguished foreign scholars, past and present, among them luminaries such as the physicists Albert Einstein and Max Plank, and the French literary scholar Andre Mazon. The Society’s membership reflects a wide range of disciplines and professions: mathematics, the physical and biological sciences, medicine, the social sciences and humanities, and the arts. The strength of the Shevchenko Scientific Society lies in the intellectual leadership of its members and the wide range of expertise they bring to its studies and publications.

We invite you to become a member of the Society, and support its mission and activities with your financial support.
